About Me

What up! I’m Stephanie! I am a photographer based in Richmond Virginia.

Photography has been my passion since I was young, learning on my dad’s old film camera. I seek out the creative side in everything. To me, clients are so much more—they’re friends. I see their story in every session I shoot, all the unique connections both past and present. It brings me so much joy learning their stories and becoming a party of their history.

I’m a bit clumsy, and smidge awkward (note photo of me trying to pose)—but I put my heart and soul into shooting memories. There’s little more that brings me more joy than when I am in the zone shooting a session or wedding. And there is one thing I know, being in front of the camera can be uncomfortable for a lot of people. I get it! I am the poster child for it! My goal is to make you have fun and feel comfortable, so that we capture images that really show who you are.

I grew up in Centreville, VA and attended Christopher Newport University. I was a bit crazy and double majored in both Studio Art and Journalism. After starting a science degree and switching to art, I fully embraced the creative life and never looked back.

My hobbies outside of photography include hiking, video games, graphic design, tacos, and any time I get to pet a dog.
